Open Heart Leaders

Open Heart Leaders is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing mental health, education, justice reform, workforce development, and community empowerment. As the Communications & Digital Marketing Specialist, I led strategic communications and digital marketing initiatives that increased public awareness, strengthened community engagement, and supported the organization's mission across multiple programs and initiatives.

My responsibilities included developing integrated communication strategies, managing social media platforms, creating multimedia content, writing promotional and executive communications, planning and executing marketing campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize audience engagement. I collaborated directly with the CEO and executive leadership to align messaging with organizational priorities while supporting fundraising initiatives, educational programming, justice reform efforts, community events, and public outreach.

By combining strategic storytelling with data-driven marketing, I helped expand the organization's digital presence through integrated campaigns that promoted mental health awareness, Heart Leaders Academy, justice reform initiatives, community workshops, recruitment efforts, fundraising campaigns, special events, and organizational announcements. These efforts strengthened stakeholder engagement, increased brand visibility, and fostered meaningful connections with the diverse communities the organization serves.
