March 5th marks Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) Awareness Day, a time to bring greater understanding to a complex and often misunderstood mental health condition.
DID is frequently linked to severe childhood trauma and can involve disruptions in identity, memory, and awareness. Increasing awareness helps reduce stigma and encourages more compassionate, trauma-informed conversations around mental health.
At Open Heart Leaders, we believe access to mental health support should never be out of reach. Through our trauma-informed and confidential counseling services, we are committed to supporting individuals on their healing journey and strengthening the communities we serve.
